07/29/2018: An explosive device targeting a telecommunications tower and electricity pylon detonated while being defused in Akba, Al Anbar, Iraq. One Iraqi Volunteer Forces fighter was killed and three fighters were injured in the blast. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack.
