Incident Summary:

08/03/2018: An explosive device detonated targeting transmission tower 87 in Qarah Tappah, Kirkuk, Iraq. There were no reported casualties, but the tower was damaged in the blast. This was one of two related attacks against electricity towers in Qarah Tappah on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
