Incident Summary:

08/11/2018: Assailants opened fire on civilians in Palukasamo, Narathiwat, Thailand. Two civilians were killed and their motorcycle was stolen in the attack. The Barisan Revolusi Nasional (BRN) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that Buddhists were randomly targeted in order to create conflict between Buddhists and Muslims in Thailand.
