Incident Summary:

08/11/2018: Assailants attacked a military outpost in Kouri Bougoudi, Tibesti, Chad. This was one of two incidents targeting military posts in Kouri Bougoudi on the same day. At least three soldiers were killed and an unknown number of other were abducted across both attacks. The hostages were released on October 4, 2018. The Military Command Council for the Salvation of the Republic (CCSMR) claimed responsibility for the incidents.
