09/08/2018: Assailants attacked a police post in Kishk, Herat, Afghanistan. At least nine police officers and eight assailants were killed while five officers and five assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
