09/09/2018: Assailants attacked the district center and the police headquarters in Day Mirdad district, Wardak, Afghanistan. At least 10 security personnel, including the police chief, and 52 assailants were killed while 65 assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
