Incident Summary:

09/10/2018: Assailants opened fire on the convoy of Colonel Abu-Muhtam in Haswah, Adan, Yemen. Abu-Muhtam, the Security Belt's 4th Battalion commander, was not harmed but an unknown number of security personnel were injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, sources attributed the attack separately to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) and the Adan-Abyan Province of the Islamic State.
