09/13/2018: An assailant armed with a sniper rifle opened fire on a police outpost in Chahar Bulak district, Balkh, Afghanistan. Three police officers were killed and seven officers were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
