Incident Summary:

09/14/2018: Assailants attempted to rob a bank and were stopped by the Congolese Army in Gatumba, Bujumbura Rural, Burundi. At least one assailant was killed and on person was wounded in the ensuing clashes. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to National Liberation Front (FNL) (Burundi).
