09/17/2018: Assailants attacked Aq Tapa, Kunduz, Afghanistan. Seven soldiers were killed, one soldier was injured and three were taken hostage in the ensuing clash. The outcome of the abduction is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
