Incident Summary:

09/23/2018: Assailants stopped two vehicles transporting Kidari Sarveswara Rao and Sivari Soma, in Thottangi, Andhra Pradesh, India. Soma, a former Telugu Desam Party Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), and Rao, a current Telugu Desam Party Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), were abducted, questioned, and killed in the assault. The Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist) claimed responsibility for the incident.
