09/27/2018: An explosive device detonated targeting a tea shop in Ceel Waaq, Gedo, Somalia. This was one of two simultaneous bombings targeting tea shops in the area on this date. At least 2 people were killed and six other people were injured across both blasts. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Shabaab.
