09/30/2018: Assailants opened fire on students at Village Hostel of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) in Tina, Plateau, Nigeria. At least one student was killed, three other people were injured, and a student was reported missing in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Fulani extremists.
