10/04/2018: An explosive device detonated against a military vehicle in Bartiebougou, Est, Burkina Faso. At least six soldiers were killed and two soldiers were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected the involvement of the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS) and Ansar al-Islam (Burkina Faso).
