10/13/2018: An explosive device detonated prematurely as assailants were planting it on a road in Puli Khumri, Baghlan, Afghanistan. Nine assailants were killed and one was injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban and noted that the device was likely meant to target security forces.
