10/23/2018: Assailants abducted 20 civilians in Bala Buluk district, Farah, Afghanistan. At least two of the hostages were killed; the whereabouts of the remaining hostages are unknown. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident and stated the victims were targeted because they had voted in the recent elections held on October 20, 2018.
