Incident Summary:
10/27/2018: Assailants opened fire and detonated explosive devices targeting a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) patrol in Murtonda, Chhattisgarh, India. At least five CRPF officers were killed and one other officer was injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist).

Criteria 1
