Incident Summary:

10/28/2018: Assailants armed with a small axe and knives attacked Nandlal Mudiyami at his dinner table inside his residence in Palnar, Chhattisgarh, India. Mudiyami, a Zila Panchayat member and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, was injured in the assault. The Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was intended to prevent roads from being constructed in the area.
