11/03/2018: An Afghan soldier opened fire on United States military personnel in Kabul, Afghanistan. One US soldier, identified as Major Brent Taylor, was killed and another US soldier was injured before the assailant was shot and killed by security forces. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
