11/15/2018: Assailants abducted a contractor and set fire to six construction vehicles in Upampalli, Sukma, Chhattisgarh, India. An unknown number of laborers were injured in the attack. The hostage was killed a short time later. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Maoists.

Criteria
Criteria 1

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
