11/19/2018: Assailants armed with firearms and rocket-propelled grenades attacked a military base in Mitile, Borno, Nigeria. At least 118 soldiers were killed and 150 other soldiers were reported missing in the incident. The Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), claimed responsibility for the attack.
