11/29/2018: An explosive device detonated targeting Iraqi Volunteer Fighters in the Himreen Mountains, Khanaqin, Diyala, Iraq. Two volunteer fighters, including Commander Abu Jamal al-Janabi, were killed and three volunteer fighters were injured in the blast. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
