Incident Summary:

11/29/2018: An explosive device detonated targeting power line workers and their Iraqi Volunteer Forces escort in Hafair, Diyala, Iraq. One volunteer fighter was killed and two were injured in the blast. Five other explosive devices were discovered and defused at the scene. This was one of four similar incidents in Diyala on this day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
