12/12/2018: An explosive device detonated near Kurdistan 24 journalists Akram Salih and Haitham Hassan outside Hajin, Deir ez-Zor, Syria. Neither Salih, a reporter, nor Hassan, a camera operator, were injured as there were no reported casualties in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
