Incident Summary:

12/17/2018: Assailants beheaded two women, identified as Louisa Vesterager Jespersen and Maren Ueland on a trail in the High Atlas Mountains near Imlil, Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz, Morocco. Four assailants were arrested in connection with the attack. In a video, the assailants pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and stated that the attack was "revenge for our brothers in Hajin."
