12/24/2018: Assailants abducted at least three Kurdish civilians from Bara Bara, Kirkuk, Iraq. One hostage escaped a short time later, but the fate of the remaining two hostages remains unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
