12/31/2018: Assailants attacked Angot oil field east of Sari Pul, Afghanistan. This was one of two related attacks on oil fields in the area on the same day. At least 20 security forces were killed and 20 others were injured across both attacks. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incidents.
