Incident Summary:

01/07/2019: Assailants entered the RTG state radio broadcasting offices and held the staff hostage in Libreville, Estuaire, Gabon. The assailants broadcasted a message calling on the public to join a coup. Security forces stormed the office, arrested the coup leader, killed two other assailants, and released the hostages. The Patriotic Youth Movement of the Gabonese Defence and Security Forces claimed responsibility for the attack.
