01/16/2019: Assailants abducted 39 fishermen in Lake Eduard, Lubero district, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The hostages, one of whom was injured, were rescued on January 17, 2018. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Mai Mai Charles Militia.
