Incident Summary:

01/17/2019: Assailants attempted to ambush a convoy of Afghan troops and supplies in Faizabad, Faryab, Afghanistan. At least four security personnel and 20 assailants were killed and two security personnel and 13 assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. In addition, 15 explosive devices were discovered and safely defused by the security convoy. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
