01/17/2019: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at General Santander Police Academy in Bogota, Colombia. In addition to the assailant, at least 21 people were killed and 67 people were injured in the blast; the victims included Colombian, Ecuadorian, and Panamanian nationals. The National Liberation Army of Colombia (ELN) claimed responsibility for the attack.
