Incident Summary:

01/20/2019: Security forces discovered an unknown number of explosive devices in Marib, Yemen. The explosives detonated as demining personnel were transporting them for defusal. Five members of the Saudi Project for Landmine Clearance (MASAM) were killed and another employee was injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Houthi extremists.
