Incident Summary:

02/02/2019: A suicide bomber detonated an explosive-laden vehicle outside of an African Union Mission to Somalia (AMISOM) base housing Ethiopian troops in Bardere, Gedo, Somalia. In addition to the assailant, two soldiers were killed and five people, including civilians, were injured in the blast. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack.
