02/08/2019: Assailants attacked an Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (FARDC) position and beheaded two FARDC members in Itabi, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR).
