03/17/2019: Assailants attacked a security checkpoint in Sinjar, Nineveh, Iraq. At least three people, including one soldier and two militiamen, were killed, and seven others, including five assailants, were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
