03/23/2019: An explosive device detonated at a security checkpoint in Mogadishu, Somalia. At least two people were killed and one person was injured in the blast. The victims included soldiers, civilians, and a local lawmaker. Jabha East Africa claimed responsibility for the incident. Sources also attributed the attack to Al-Shabaab.
