Incident Summary:

04/09/2019: Assailants entered a health center and opened fire on Chanderkant Sharma in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Sharma, a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader and medical assistant, and his personal security officer, identified as Rajinder Kumar, were killed in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
