04/23/2019: An assailant drove his vehicle into a crowd of civilians in Sunnyvale, California, United States. At least eight people were injured in the attack. Isaiah Joel Peoples was arrested in connection with the incident and authorities stated that Peoples "targeted the victims based on their race and his belief that they were of the Muslim faith."
