Incident Summary:

04/23/2019: Assailants opened fire on a Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) position in Kauwa, Borno, Nigeria. At least three assailants were killed and an unknown number of assailants were injured as security forces repelled the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
