05/01/2019: Assailants abducted five people at a checkpoint Kadan, Al Hudaydah, Yemen. Three of the hostages were released in return for a ransom. The outcome of the remaining hostages is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Houthi extremists (Ansar Allah).
