05/06/2019: Assailants opened fire on a military detachment in a village in Malibatuan, North Cotabato, Philippines. It is unknown whether anybody was wounded in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
