05/06/2019: Assailants opened fire on a police checkpoint in Altun Kupri, Kirkuk, Iraq. At least three police officers were killed and another officer was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
