05/13/2019: An explosive device detonated prematurely as assailants attempted to throw it from their vehicle at a soldier protecting a polling station at the Bacung Elementary School in Bacung, Basilan, Philippines. One assailant was injured in the attack. The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) claimed responsibility for the incident.
