06/01/2019: Assailants attacked a border police checkpoint in Pashmikah, Farah, Afghanistan. At least eight people, including three assailants and five police officers, were killed and ten people, including three assailants and seven police officers, were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
