06/03/2019: An assailant threw a grenade targeting civilians in Tripoli, North, Lebanon. At least one civilian was injured in the blast. This was one of three attacks carried out by the same assailant in Tripoli on this date. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident. Sources identified the assailant as Abdul-Rahman Mabsout, a former member of ISIL.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
