06/05/2019: Assailants attacked the Batal 14 checkpoint in Arish, North Sinai, Egypt. At least 13 people, including eight police officers and five assailants, were killed and an unknown number of security personnel were injured in the attack. The Sinai Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack.
