06/14/2019: Assailants opened fire on the vehicle of Gul Salam Betani, a former peace committee commander, in Shah Zawal, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. One assailant was killed and Betani, his two friends, and one assailant were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Awal Khan group of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
