Incident Summary:

06/17/2019: Assailants attacked members of the Dogon community in Gangafani, Mopti, Mali. At least 19 people were killed in the attack. This was one of two related attacks targeting Dogon villages in Mopti on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Fulani extremists.
