06/26/2019: Assailants opened fire on a checkpoint near Mar Mina Church in Masaeed, North Sinai, Egypt. At least one soldier was injured in the attack. This was one of three coordinated attacks in and around Arish on the same date. The Sinai Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incidents.
