Incident Summary:

07/01/2019: Suicide bombers detonated two explosives-laden vehicles and assailants opened fire on a military base in Inates, Tillaberi, Niger. In addition to the two assailants, at least 18 soldiers were killed and four others were reported missing. The Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), claimed responsibility for the attack.
